There is no original box instructions. I did plug unit into outlet and the red light come on switched to green after was finished heating up. Shave gels should not be used with this unit. Not sure if the unit has been used.

Conair HLM10 White Instant Hot Lather Machine Shaving Cream Dispenser. There is some corrosion noted on the plug. There is some dirt trapped in the narrow channel of electrical cord. I did not test with shaving cream.
